A talent in creating stunning visuals is foremost in this industry, but understanding the needs of the customer in graphic design is a very close second. From posters, flyers, CD covers, brochures, magazine layouts, and user's guide covers, the graphic artist and his or her talent can be useless and wasted if the design needs of the customer are not properly analyzed. Every client has a unique presentation state that must be conveyed in order to produce marketing visuals that draw the public in with a conscious and subconscious enthusiasm.
My approach to graphic design is to present my best ideas after analyzing what is best for the client after gaining a full understanding of what their needs are.
My graphic software proficiency is mainly Adobe Photoshop CS, but many times Photoshop is merely a canvas and a filtering method for graphic components pulled in from applications such as 3D Studio Max, Macromedia Freehand, and Adobe Illustrator.
